The North Beach Football Club was Established in February 1964 with the Western Australian Amateur Football League. The Club started with open air change rooms and cold showers and a road running in front of them, many teams were reluctant to make the long trip north to play The Beach.

The club has evolved from these humble beginnings to be a modern day power house both on and off the field catering for all levels of footballer.

North Beach FC has a underlying winning and close comradeship culture that needs to be experienced to appreciate the meaning and impact it has on footballers and supporters of this great club. The culture of NBFC has been instilled at the club for the past 43 years has seen the club prosper in on field premiership success and vibrant social aspect to have a record that is  the envy of all football clubs.


1964 to 1974 – “ Pioneers of North Beach Football club”

The close of football in 1963 saw a large number of junior players graduate from under age ranks with no where to play unless going to league clubs,the need to start a senior club for season 1964 was sounded out by local  Mr Ernie Bennett who  called a meeting to invite interested footballers to join the new North Beach Amateur Football Club.

The historic occasion of the birth of NBFC occurred in February 1964 with 22 people in attendance. This meeting voted Michael Gregory in as the inaugural President and decided at this meeting that season 1964 would be dedicated to fund raising for Guernsey’s and equipment.
